What happens if you don't return a rented tuxedo?

Nothing if you put the wrong phone number and address

From BlergK: A better answer as that is technically illicit theft (and if the tuxedo is worth more that $400 dollars it is considered grand theft in the United States):

Most places that you would be able to rent a Tuxedo nowadays require either a hefty cash deposit or a credit card number on file. If one fails to return the garment than you are not able to retrieve your deposit or your credit card would be billed for the value of the garment. It's not the end of the world but you will probably end up paying between one and two times the price of the tux for the store to replace it as well as the inconvenience of not being able to rent that tux to another customer.

In some cases, much like a library book you may be charged a fine per day until it is returned up to a point (probably somewhere from a week to a month) when it is considered missing and they would simply charge you the full value.
